Hello, first I would like to thank you for coming to the about us page. Second, let me tell you little about the reason for building survivenitstore. In the past few years, well definitely since September 11, 2001, we have seen a dramatic rise in natural and man-made disasters. The most common theme was the lack of any emergency preparedness. I mean, nobody had first aid kits, survival kits, clean water, safe food and medical supplies, emergency shelter or clothing. We were no better than the rest, I didn't have any survival kits, may be a super small first-aid kit, that was about it. I never really thought about extra food water, or having to survive for three days or three weeks without a grocery store. What if I couldn't get to the doctor, did I have enough emergency medical supplies on hand to help anyone? No I did not. And neither did most of the people I knew. That's when I decided to do something about it. Since we had never even bought a first aid kit or survival Kit, we knew we had a lot to learn. The more we got into this the more we realized how important it really was. Let me stress that word one more time, Important. Our personal goal was to put together a store that anyone, with or without any previous knowledge of how to put together a comprehensive emergency disaster kit, would be able to get everything they would need to keep an Emergency From Turning into a Tragedy. We wanted to make our store, monkey proof. What is monkey proof, you ask? The way you make something monkey proof, is to make it so simple, that even a monkey would have no problem putting together the perfect emergency disaster kit. Well we did it! Every kit, every product on this site, and in our store, is of the highest quality and usability. We did all the looking. We did all the shopping. The products on this site, the survival kits, the first-aid kits etc, have everything you need to survive after a disaster. Even though we hope it never happens, sometimes it does.
